outside of the classroom or office, my train of thought never leaves the station. I like to find the creative in the ordinary, from homecoming competitions to dunkin' donut halloween costumes. Check some of it out below.
creative bits
KAPPA ALPHA THETA HOMECOMING - as homecoming chair i designed and executed floats, banners, mascots and can-struction pieces that placed in the overall competition. also additionally designed a logo for our team. our past themes included: rock & roll and "let the games begin."
HUNGER AWARENESS WEEK - i found my jam in high school via service. i created a week dedicated to raising hunger awareness--which included plastering the halls with flyers of faces of the number of children who died that day from hunger around the world.
MISSION TRIP MURALS - i sneakily talked my way into a band mission trip to Kenya by convincing them i was an art groupie. my fare: paint a mural on a wall of an orphanage that they were performing at.
COMMISSIONED SORORITY GIRL - what creative girl doesn't like to craft? painted coolers were a trend in college.. so my friends asked me to make them for them, naturally. saving the world one frat party at a time.
HALLOWEEN - a sheet over the head or an angel doesn't cut it for me. for example, Dunkin' Donuts, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Taco "Belle".
CUTTING THE CHEESE - it was an interesting first internship. if you ever need to know a good cheese hit me up.
